A PhD position is available in the group of our board member Jürgen Zanghellini at the Institute of Analytical Chemistry, starting in the spring of 2024 or later. In this project, the successful PhD candidate will pioneer the development of AI-based tools for optimizing biotechnological production processes. Leveraging time course data enhanced with AI technology, the candidate will create precise bioprocess models through parameterization and characterization. These models will subsequently be employed to predict and implement optimal process designs.
