Sebastian has a physics background where he primarily focused on particle physics and data analysis. During his Master thesis he used supervised machine learning methods to separate signal from background events at the ALICE experiment at CERN. His new research objective is to use unsupervised strategies to study the large amount of data produced by the GAIA mission which collected information on more than 1.6 billion stars in our milky way.
We are very happy to have Sebastian at our research platform!
